    Hey Guys, i chose A Level history as an a level to fill up my options - i enjoy history but havent done it since year 9! I have done geography at GCSE and did get a grade A. Can anyone give me any tips and pointers for my first few lessons and as i go on.

    Do lots of extra reading and watching documentaries I struggled with AS history, mostly because I was just trying to pass the exams rather than truly understand the content

    This! History rocks, embrace the clips of history! I personally prefer narrated documentaries

    Thank you! What do you reccomend i read and watch? And the topics i will cover are britain from 1625 - 1701 and French Revolution (this year) and the american civil rights stuff 1859-2009 and the abolition of the slave trade (next year)
