Hello. I've received an email from my university saying that I've been awarded a bursary when I didn't apply for one. There was a link, in which it asks for my bank details. The website seems a bit dodgy and is probably a scam. Has anyone else received such emails?

If you're unsure, speak to the uni. Did you give student finance permission for your income details to be shared with it's the uni?

I don't think I have. But there's another thread which explains what fraudsters do:

My situation is very similar to what in this thread^^^.
I will be contacting the university though.
    Thanks for your help
