Is it fair if I ask (just roughly) how much of a chance there is if I get in the computing science course? I just don't want to waste one of my 5 choices if there is not much chance for me to get in. I have 3A's - computing art and English, 2 Bs maths and graphic communications. I have a few hobbies and different experiences here and there

From the undergrad CS page (http://www.gla.ac.uk/undergraduate/d...requirements):

Standard academic entry requirements: S5 entry requirement = AAAA or AAABB. S6 entry requirement = AAAAAB (S6 entry requirements only apply to applicants who achieved the minimum S5 requirements and have been made a conditional offer.)

Other mandatory requirements: Two science subjects, one of which must be Mathematics at Grade A or B, or alternatively Maths at C AND Computing at B or above. Please note that ICT is not acceptable as a substitute for Computing.

You will be fine to apply, if you have any experience programming be sure to include that in your personal statement.
Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
