I'm self teaching it and I can't take it anymore, it's so tedious and dry. How did you cope?

Hmm, which board are you doing it with? I did it (self-taught) with Edexcel, and didn't find it too bad. Are there any particular bits you find boring, or is it just in general? And do you know if you find it boring bc it's too easy, or too hard? If the latter, I'd be happy to give any help; if the former, I'm afraid that you'll just have to plough through it all... the story of life XD But I'm sure that you can find more interesting stuff on maths online, if you want to brighten up a bit

Yes, it is quite boring and tedious. You just have to push through it.

CIE and thank you but it's the former, too easy, it's just memorizing formulas

By the way, do any obscure questions come up? Or are the questions mostly like the solved basic examples in the textbooks?

Idk, I didn't do CIE. But you could ask elsewhere
The thing with memorising equations sounds a bit like GCSE Physics... :/
Btw, if you want some interesting maths to do (as do I), then I have a proposal. We could take it in turns to find rly tricky (but not impossible) maths problems (preferably with solutions) on the internet, and then get the other to solve them.
    What do you think?

The banter of course. We mostly distracted ourselves from the mundane stuff by talking in class. I'll say this though, you'll probably find interesting stuff as you progress, + just remember that you need it for A-Levels. Use that and it would probably outweigh the fact that you find the work boring.
