I'll join, but I get bored easily, so don't be surprised if I slip off and play CoD4.

Why will want to play this over COD4 when my previous outings in games using the source engine haven't been wonderfully successful. I'm a reasonable COD4 and Battlefield 2 player but I just can't seem to get the hang of team fortress 2 ( I have to play as an engineer and hide lots to get any kills) half life, etc. etc.
TF2 and CSS are very, very different games for starters. Personally i much prefer CSS to TF2, because i can never get on with the class system. CSS, at least on the levels that involve a bomb, is essentially S&D, only instead of walking and having a run button, you run and have a walk button. Other than that they're pretty similar games, bar needing to buy weapons. A few weeks ago when i got back into CSS i'd have said it wasn;t as tactical as CoD 4, but actually it is, or it can be. It's a lot more similar to CoD4 than i thought, that's for sure.
