hi, i would like to do a Law degree at university but I'm not 100% sure yet,
these are the A-levels i have taken
    Enlgish lit
    sociology
    history
i was told i don't need an A-level in law, is that true? i took history and english lit for the essay writing skills and socially because its about people in society and does have parts on criminology on it?
    are these the right a-levels?

History and English are perfect choices for law, sociology should also be fine, although economics, politics or a language may be better. Definitely don't need A Level law, in fact many top law schools and firms frown upon it.

English Literature and History are great choices for a Law degree! Sociology is also relevant, so your choices are good overall. If you're not 100% set on Law, then choosing another subject like Maths or Geography rather than Sociology may help to keep your degree options more varied, however. A Level Law definitely isn't required for a degree in Law, a lot of universities don't even encourage applicants to take it
