Weird rash thing

Basically earlier on i had an itch on my side and i though maybe i'd been bitten by an insect or something so i itched it once and left it. Within about 30mins i could feel stuff on my lower back, i got my dad to look and he said i had like raised lumps but it looked like where my jeans had been rubbing the skin. But by tonight i now have these hard lump things allover my lower back, side, legs and arm and i have no idea what they are. At first i thought when i had just the one lump that i'd had an allergic reaction to an insect bite but now i'm confused as to what they are. My mum had a look and at first she thought they were blisters but they're hard so we're baffled :s I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what it could be? xx<3

Could be any sort of insect bite. It's not unusual to get covered in them when you're outside on summer evenings. Could also be an allergic reaction to something you've touched / are wearing. If you've been wearing any cheap metals, take them off/out. Try taking an antihistamine and see your GP if it's still there tomorrow or in a day or two.

could it be hives? These are incredibly itchy and appear and disappear throughout the day

I had something similar last week - started with a few itchy bits on my leg which I assumed were insect bites, but by the next day I had itchy patches practically all over my body which were driving me crazy. Go to the doctor to check it out but it's probably an allergic reaction to something (still have no idea what mine was from though), I got prescribed anti-histamines and it had vanished within a couple of days.

Are you sure it's not hives? Take some anti-histamines, like piriton if you think you've taken an allergic reaction and see how it goes. Have you changed your diet, any aspect of your lifestyle? Usually that can cause hives.
