How Far Would You Go Online?

I keep hearing loads of stuff about this and i'm just generally wondering.
If you are in a relationship and you speak to random people on the internet, how far do you think it's acceptable to "go" with them? Just some light flirting or a few "x"'s at the end of the convo? Full on cyber sex or nothing remotely sexual at all?
What's ok and what is considered cheating?

Cybersex is sooooo tacky. More so when it's with randomers you don't know. And yes, I'd be fuming if I found out my bf had been doing things like that...

Eh, as far as I'm concerned I wouldn't go further/act any different than I would offline. The odd bit of light flirting I guess.

lol cyber sex. why you do that? you have to type simultaneously. i dont like the thought, but if you up for a bit of fun why not. be aware it can be anyone on the other side of pc.

Well flirting with other people other than your bf/gf when your in a relationship seems rather unfair even if it is online. Light flirting isnt too bad though, just try and keep it light and not give the other person the wrong impression.
As for the x's thing, I put them to basically everyone (apart from guys lol) so it really doesnt make much difference unless you fill like a whole page in x's lol.

lol reminds me of the first time I used this program called CU SeeMe, it was one of the first video chat things, way before ICQ and MSN Messenger. I'm showing my sister the wonders of the internet by clicking on some lady's name for a chat and what comes up is a nice image of some old lady's naked body.

Another thing some of these people would do, is show you a video of porn and in return they thought you'd show yourself. Pretty pathetic.

It's more the fact that my bf would WANT to do such a thing and fantasise about cyber sex with some randomer that is the problem and that is what I'd be fuming about. The fact that it's a stranger and it's not an actual act that's carried out does not matter. What matters is he wants to do this and fantasise about this with other girls.

Absolutely (agreeing with you a lot tonight, aren't I? :p:

). I'd be mad because a) If he felt sexually unfulfilled, I'd be annoyed that he couldn't talk to me about it, b) It's tacky as hell. Go and have real sex.

I may be biased because I don't talk to randomers online (does TSR count?), especially flirting and the like. Maybe I just don't see the appeal :confused:

Maybe someone who does it/ has done it can explain the appeal?

I was showing this to my sister!
This was just a video chat thing like the video equivalent of MSN or whatever so you just click on someone's name and start chatting.

Hey if you get bored online you could start flirting with *Katie*, she seems to want to experiment. She hasn't tried it yet.

There's a difference between flirting a bit and having cybersex. The latter is a definite no-no, the former depends on circumstances.

If you're bored in real life, you don't go out and find someone to have sex with. Same applies online.
