kohl makes my eyes blurry

the only make up i wear is kohl, and when i aply it it makes my sight go kinda blurrry. is there anything i can do to stop it apart from not using it anymore? thanks

Hmmm you could be allergic or sensitive to it. If it's black kohl eyeliner you can replace it with a black eyeshadow dipped in a little water and apply with a cotton bud to still give you that smokey look.

i dunno if im allergic i doubt it cos it doesnt itch, but i mean its really good stuff- lancome kohl y'know. I have to use a lot of eyedrops to stop my eyes from blurring which wipes all the kohl of anyway :frown:

its annoying cos it makes my eyes look enormous :p:

Do you put it in the inside rim of your eye? It's probably then being wiped over your eye every time you blink. Try lining on the outside of your eye or along your lash line.

Yeah Lancome is a good product, I'd try the eyeshadow just to see how you go or inside of lining inside the eye, just line underneath the bottom lashes but keep it away from the lower lid as much as you possibly can :smile:

Just because it doesn't 'itch' doesn't mean you're not allergic!!!!!!
Not all allergies have itching as one of their symptoms.

I'm allergic to No7 eyeliner - I get watery eyes, and it stings - No itching, but I'm still allergic.

My point is, you may be allergic to it. Try another brand and see how you get on with that. If you still have 'blurry' eyes, then it may just be down to your application technique.

14 years later but i only use kohl and i’ve been using many ones through out my life and i just bought the lancôme and i CANT see. It’s like a membrane covering my eye.
