# Solve using the quadratic equation Watch

1. 3x^2-3x-7=0
3. (Original post by AlevelMaths42)
What are your a, b and c values?

Let's see what you think.
4. If I remember correctly the quadratic formula is -b x root (b^2-4ac)/2a
I don't have a calculator but just put the values in and remember to do plus and minus the value of b

3x^2-3x-7=0
Just use the formula x = {-b +_ sqrt(b2-4ac)}/2a where a=3, b=3 c=7 and you'll get the values of x.
