We ordered an oven which was meant to arrive last monday but didn't and my mums rung every day and been told days from arriving from last monday to this thursday.

We got a text yesterday saying it was arriving yesterday and it didn't and again today but we've rung up and it isn't coming today either. Now they're giving us no date to when its arriving and not really telling us a lot.

I know you can claim compensation for any days off work you've had to take but jst wanted more advice in this situation

Was a delivery date part of the reason why it was bought?

No it was cause of the ovens make like its a really good make and its cost a lot of money. But we ordered it in July and got told it would come in 6 weeks (which annoying in the first place but thats what we agreed to) and then on the contract it said would arrive on the 5th sept.
