Top 5 Animation Courses in the South

    • Thread Starter

Hello, I'm creating a list for my top 5 Universities for Animation and need your help!
Preferably, they need to be in the south of the country.
The entry requirements I'm looking for is about ABB-BBC.

    My current list is:
    Bath Spa

I’m a graduate of Plymouth College of Art and had a great experience studying there. Although I studied BA (Hons) Illustration, I had several friends on the BA (Hons) Animation course.

They really enjoyed the mixture of traditional and computer animation, exploring everything from the Disney’s 12 Principles of Animation, to working with animation software used by Studio Ghibli.

They worked on live briefs and national competitions, with the chance to get involved in international events. The lecturers are also practicing designer-makers, providing valuable first-hand knowledge and advice.

Plymouth College of Art appealed to me because they’re a specialist, independent art college. All their courses, studios, and facilities focus on art and design.

Plymouth is an inspiring city by the sea, with a generous mix of creative events and culture.

You can find out more info about entry requirements on the Animation page on the Plymouth College of Art website.

Hope that helps and good luck with your decision!
