Hi! First post, so please bare with...
I was hoping a few of you wouldn't mind giving me some advice on whether or not I have a chance of getting an offer from Imperial or any of the others below (please be frank!).

I got AABBB in my AS levels, which is worse than I was expecting, however I have been predicted A*AAB for my A levels. Are these grades suitable for Imperial (minimum offer -> A*AAA), Durham (AAA), Bristol (A*AA), Southampton (AAA) or UCL (A*AA)? Alternatively, I could take a gap year and apply with (hopefully) better grades and experience next year.

    Thanks in advance!

You should definitely get offers from them. Most universities give offers to people with predicted grades slightly lower than what they want. Unless it's some place like Oxford with very strict requirements, which I don't think any of them are, you should be fine.
