So i am struggling thinking of experiences and activities i do that are maths related. My mathematics teacher has given me some books to read and possibly talk about but other than that i have no idea what to write about :c

Should i attend open days or seminar things and talk about those? I was also thinking maybe helping out teach in AS mathematics classes perhaps?

If so how many things maths related should i be aiming to write about?

    Any answers appreciated!

Yeah, go to some seminars if you can (preferably on something you think will genuinely interest you) and maybe talk about why it was interesting or how it motivated you. I also remember sticking down my future ambitions after learning maths (worded better than that of course ) there's not a huge amount you can say though. The teaching bit sounds like a good experience to put down.

The extra reading is all you need, but if there are any seminars/online lectures etc. then they would be good too

If you've been a prefect or tutored any younger kids in maths (you could start being a maths tutor and you could write it shows initiative, leadership and your dedication and understanding in the subject or something)

I'm in exactly the same position, so in the last week I've organised work experience at an actuarial firm and started a Future Learn course which is maths related. I've also tried to talk about topics I like and possible topics that would interest me at uni (make sure all the unis you are applying to do these topics!). I also did maths tutoring for Year 11s for their GCSEs and then you can include any books/articles you've read, or any maths related documentaries? Have you done any maths challenges or competitions?
