When would I apply for training contracts?

    • Thread Starter

Hi, I was just curious on when I should expect to apply for a training contract, I heard a lot about applying in 2nd year but when exactly? I only use 1st year result right so they can see what is predicted for overall or am I wrong? I honestly don't know how giving the degree result works for the prediction, how early dyu actually find out your result for the year? because I was thinking since a lot of deadlines are usually around july, Would I get my 2nd year result already by then? I don't know when the results are found out for each year, I know there is so many questions but please do help

If you're doing LLB law: Vac Scheme deadlines are roughly January of your 2nd year, so you apply with first year results. Direct training contract applications are July of you 2nd year, so you apply with your 2nd year results.

In terms of predictions, one of the common questions is what classification do you expect to graduate with rather than an official university prediction. Don't forget that you specify the mark you get in each module. So for example, if you have an average of less than 55, to say that you expect to graduate with a 2.1 may be pushing it a little.
Which party will you be voting for in the General Election 2017?
