Can I sue my othrodontist on the grounds that... Watch

I'm 17 and a year ago I got braces on only my top row (on the NHS). A year later and they were off and my teeth were straight, I (stupidly) lost my retainer 3 months later when I left it on a flight and paid for a new one. I got my teeth remoulded and came back 5 days later to pick up my new retainer. The retainer was loose and would bounce left to right, as well as being shorter than my original: it didn't cover my back two molars? My orthodontist apologised and said she'd send a new one and then took a second mould, for the meanwhile she fiddled around with the loose retainer and cut the edges so that it might fit better (it didn't). I haven't heard back from them and now, two weeks later, my back molars have started moving back so that they are no longer straight, I am in constant pain and due to the "adjusted" retainer, the sides cut into the inside of my mouth where she tried to make them fit.

Is there any reason why you haven't chased this up after 2 weeks?

your teeth won't move that much in two weeks

just call them and ask for a retainer

Amazes me how you recieved this treatment for FREE then have the audacity to want to sue for your own lack of diligence
