I've just started at a state boarding school for year 12. The main school is lovely, as well as the boarding ethos, but the people in my boarding house really dislike me. I think I will move schools, but it seems a bit late to apply anywhere??? I always want to try for a scholarship for an independent boarding school. So could I take a year out, and choose a sixth form? is that legal/are there things I could do?!
gap year before starting a levels! (i'm desparate!) watch

I am pretty sure you can as lots of people end up retaking the year anyway.
