I got my paper back and where my teacher would have credited me this marker hasn't and I'm really confused.

My teacher said that we always needed to have a counter argument to show we can judge the topic, however where I have done this and made this clear, the marker has put 'contradictory statements'

Additionally, we were told we can write about different factors if we think one is more important than the one the question has asked about, eg social and economics in the question, but we can discuss age as a more important factor, however this marker has put that what I have written is irrelevant.

Who can I ask about this?

I'd take it to your teacher however if it is the original script in sorry but there will be no difference in worrying about it now as you can't send it back also im pretty sure deadlines for remarks have passed. Don't give up hope though, try your best at Alevel- it really doesnt seem fair but hey you know you worked hard and followed whatever you were told so just keep doing that- don't let it disappoint you

Both my teachers have left. I'm not interested in my grade, I'm interested in why the markings were different to what was explained to me. I'm not going to 'work hard' at what I've been told, if what I've been told is wrong.
