So I went to a college for one day and the second day and I came home both days crying I hate it, I tried to go in the third day but couldn't stop crying. I have decided to go back to my sixth form. Now I will be redoing my A levels at sixth form so all my friends will leave after a year. Any advice for redoing the year alone. I also feel like I have failed, I just hated college

Awh no i am so sorry to hear that, i feel the same way i hate it too and a few of my friends are going back to sixth form, i guess i have to get used to it. I am sure that when you go back you will make friends, so don't worry about it too much as i am positive you will make mates to keep you company!

My only friend left at 6th form left after my first year, I was alone too for all of my second year but I found peace in the loneliness and actually, it helped me grow as a person.

    Dw go at it alone

    1. You arent a failure.
    2. Retaking in a familiar environment is smart as it increases your chances of success if you were happy there. It takes courage to go back.
    3. You will make new friends in your new year and everyone leaves after sixth form anyway. No reason you cant stay in touch
    4. You wont be alone. You are worrting too much over not a lot.
    5. Make sure you get good grades and do well.

You haven't failed don't worry! I had tonnes of friends who needed up a year behind the rest of the year and they were fine. In fact they said they actually enjoyed it more. You'll make new friends automatically and it's not like your old friends will disappear completely!

My advice would be to just try and find a group in your (new year) and do your best to make some friends. There will be no doubt be kids who are completely new to your 6th form anyway so you won't be alone in not knowing anyone.

You'll be fine. Hell, you may find you like your new year better than your old one.
