# Calculator input help urgent Watch

1. How do I enter 1.8 x 10^5 (well I do get that) then I don't get on my calculator where the "change sign +\-) so that my display should show 1.8^-05? Then I don't get how to enter log10 and the change sign again?

Er, what are you asking for exactly? What do you mean change the sign? Just put a minus in front of a number if you want it to be negative. log 10 is just your log button then a 10 inside the bracket.

Not really, I don't understand chemistry or what it's asking. What is the calculation you are trying to perform?

Hydrogen ion concentration

Hydrogen ion concentration
Not sure what's the variable here, if any, but it is essentially on the sheet. Do this, then press the log button, then press the ANS button, then press the equals button. The +/- button is pointless because it just multiplies whatever by -1 and you can do it easily without a calc.

Or you could just type it in as: if you wish.
