Size:  482.0 KBHow do I enter 1.8 x 10^5 (well I do get that) then I don't get on my calculator where the "change sign +\-) so that my display should show 1.8^-05? Then I don't get how to enter log10 and the change sign again?

    Er, what are you asking for exactly? What do you mean change the sign? Just put a minus in front of a number if you want it to be negative. log 10 is just your log button then a 10 inside the bracket.

    Not really, I don't understand chemistry or what it's asking. What is the calculation you are trying to perform?

    Not sure what's the variable here, if any, but it is essentially 1.8 \cdot 10^{-5} on the sheet. Do this, then press the log button, then press the ANS button, then press the equals button. The +/- button is pointless because it just multiplies whatever by -1 and you can do it easily without a calc.

    Or you could just type it in as: \log(1.8\cdot 10^{-5}) if you wish.
