ive recently applied for a student bank account with nationwide. my application was successful however i need to go into the branch with my ID to open my account and it says that my card and pin will be sent to me within 7 days. However will i be able to access my account and use the overdraft after i visit the bank or will i have to wait till i get my card and pin?

Yeah you have to wait for it to come through about 7 days after your appointment, however you can deposit money beforehand. Nationwide make it really easy to set up though.
