    Hi all,
On Saturday, I fractured my knee playing football and will be in a splint and on crutches for at least 4-6 weeks. Of course that means being on crutches for freshers.
I have given up on playing football for the uni this year because even if the bones fuse together in the next 2 months, the subsequent physiotherapy means that I won't be in the condition to play until January.
However, I was hoping to be able to still attend the numerous freshers events that I have already paid for in clubs and university social spaces due to the fact that I am in no pain or serious discomfort and am on no medication that would make alcohol a no-go. Does this sound possible, and if so, sensible(all things considered)??
