Currently I am in Year 12, studying A level Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Maths. People have told that I would have to work a great deal and that I would struggle because I chose such difficult subjects. If I'm aiming for an A* in Physics, would that be achievable? I am really passionate about the subject, however I feel like with Maths, it would be too much. Thank you.

I studied Maths, Biology, Chemistry and French at A-Level which is fairly similar to yourself. A lot of my friends did Physics and Maths and they found the two highly complementary and found that things they learnt in one subject actually preempted the other and made it easier. You are in for a rough time with all the sciences but it's nothing to be scared of, all A-Levels are difficult and people usually point out the sciences as the worst because they're not scientifically minded. That A* in Physics is entirely achievable.
Also, don't be afraid to admit it if you need to drop one of these subject after the first year. Most people expect that anyway, which is why they make you do 4 in the first place.
