Greetings, I have just started A2, doing Maths, Economics and Computer Science. My predicted grades are A*AC / AAB (respectively) but I know I can do better than that.

    My current choices are:

    1. Between UCL and LSE (Both A*AA)
    2. Between Nottingham (A*AA - AAA) and Warwick (A*AA)
    3. SOAS (AAA-AAB)
    4. Manchester (AAB)
    5. City (AAB)

    Also considering:
    • UCL BSc Management Science (AAA) but is it worth altering my Personal Statement just for 1 different course?
    • Queen Mary (A*AA - AAA)
    • Surrey (AAA)
    • King's College (A*AA)
Do you think these choices are reasonable? Should I aim higher or lower? Are there any other good universities for Economics?

Given that UCL, LSE, Warwick and Nottingham all effectively want A*AA, why are your choices between the first pair and the last pair?

An unfocused PS is likely to weaken your application. LSE in particular look at the PS as a way of differentiating between good candidates.

What you are going to need to check especially with LSE is whether they require Further Maths as this will influence your decision.
