Hello I have just gone in to year 12. Been there for a week. Had a test last week in maths, did awfully, teacher said that it was scarily low. Made me feel like s!*t. Tbh I am at a new school and was feeling ill on the day of the test and just couldn't remember any of it. I did know how to do about 80% of it but my mind just blanked. Anyways I changed from maths to core maths. Now I am doing Core Maths, Geography, Graphic Products and Business Studies. I can't do Economics because the class is full. All I want to do though is go into finance when I'm older and preferably do Accounting but I have barely researched jobs in Finance all I know is that you don't actually need to have A-Level maths to do accounting etc.
Any advice is accepted (within reason - don't give me an answer on how to peel a potato just want advice related to the topic)

    1. Place your potatoes in a large pot with plenty of water. ...
    2. If you'd like, score your potatoes. ...
    3. Bring it to a boil for about 15 minutes. ...
    4. When they're cooked through, immerse them one by one in ice cold water for 5-10 seconds. ...
    5. Peel off the skin.

Im going for accounting too and the courses range from BBC to AAA

You dont need to worry about economics, I dont do business studies!

Its best if you have maths as an A lvl, I do maths, geo and bio.

Geo is good cos you can write about global awareness in you PS and it constitutes to essay writing skill

lol ty for the potato advice.
i presume the requirements for accounting are BBC to AAA?
I understand maths may be more respected but the mathematics that it involves doesn't even come up in accounting so isn't it just un-needed stress? idk
