If you are not sure what to do then it is best to contact your department office.

Normally, what is needed to be done is:

    1) Log into "My Admin" to complete the first step of your registration (the second step is done by physically turning up to your department's office).

    2) (If you use Student Finance) Log into Student Finance to register for your student loan for the new academic year.

Do you mean you are just about to start your second year? If so no you do not have to apply, you automatically go onto the next year(if you passed the first year obviously) but you do have to go register for the 2nd year. You should have had an email stating what day you have to register. Good luck🙂
