Hey guys, I want to do computer science when I'm older.

I did AS levels but I did badly in the examinations (UDDE) and it was that point when I decided that A levels were not for me and thats when I pursued a BTEC extended diploma.

So far the the course has been going great for me, as I have acheived D* D* from putting in hours of work in my first year. I am targeted to getting D* D* D*. Will my chances of getting into university be affected as I did badly in my AS levels?

    Thanks

You might have to put your A-Levels onto your uni applications but you'll also be putting on your predicted grades for the BTEC which, coupled with a good personal statement, ought to negate the 'bad image'. You'll still get offers and as long as you meet those conditions you'll be fine
