Hi, I would like to be a solicitor, probably more family based and want to go on and study law at a Uni. i was just wondering if i have taken the right Alevels. i took
and sociology (for the family aspect)
I didn't do the A-level law because I was told you didn't need it to do it at A-level, is that correct and can i still get into a top uni to study law with really good grades in these subjects?

Those A levels are fine for law, it is true that you don't need law at A level to study it at top universities. But you shouldn't be thinking about law specialisms for at least 2 or 3 years. An A level in sociology is not going to prepare you for family law.
