How would you personally describe yourself? Introverts gain their energy by being alone but still enjoy company of others

Extroverts gain their energy by being around and with others

how about you guys? Do you need time away from socialising to 'recharge' ?

I'm pretty sure at least 90% of users here are introverts lmao

Everyone is on a scale between introvert and extrovert so most people will have elements of both introvert and extrovert in them. I swear I'm 97% introvert though, I've always preferred doing things alone and have never regularly socialised or had any close friends. Or I might just be a loser lol.

I'd describe myself as an introvert. I don't mind being with others for a while, but I need time by myself afterwards and generally prefer being alone

I'm an introvert really. Being around people for too long knackers me out and I'm not a fan of being in big groups, I prefer to hang in smaller groups. Gets on my tits though when people think that the word introvert means being shy and reserved - it doesn't. Doesn't make me an extrovert just because I'm good at talking to people, like having a chat and I'm not afraid to say what's on my mind.

yeah i totally agree thats why i defined what they meant. Like even though i will admit i am shy with unfamiliar people and environments, I'm outgoing with close friends and family. I just need 'me' time to recharge- its not that i don't enjoy other people company i love it.
