I got 239 UMS in AQA AS maths (c1,c2, and m1) which is one mark off an A. This year, A2, I am considering resitting the exams so that I will have a better chance at getting an A/A* overall. Is this the best option? Or should I just focus on the A2 content (c3,c4, and m2)?

If you're going for an A*, it doesn't really matter. This is because you need 241 more UMS, 180 of which comes from C3 and C4. So if you do that then you just need 61 in your final applied unit.

What was your breakdown? If you have one that was particularly lower than the others, then you can resit that one as a safety net.

Thanks for replying
M1 brought me down quite a lot since I got 72 UMS. I got 79 in C1 and 89 in C2.
