Why did he say this?
I was madly in love with a guy many years ago but there was always bad timing. He wasn't single, then I wasn't single. We parted ways which he met someone, got married and had a child. Recently he emailed an old mutual school friend who showed me the email. The email upset me as the guy I liked spoke about me saying that I 'remain in his heart'. What does that mean? I would not get involved with a married man but I feel like I must have meant something to him and am devastated that we have no chance now.
i don't recommend getting in contact unless you know you're strong enough to tell him he has no chance with you anymore
at the end of the day he's married. If he still has feelings for you it's his choice for what he does / doesn't want to do
