Hello, i would like some advice please, basically i want to study medicine at university so i have chosen to do maths biology chemistry and english lit, the only problem is that im finding english lit a little bit boring and uninteresting at the moment so should i swap to classics which ive heard is much more interesting and also a lot easier. Could someone who knows both subjects well please compare the two subjects for me. also which would universities prefer if i am taking medicine, classics or english lit? thank you all in advance

It doesn't matter which one you do, universities will not care. I've never heard that Classics is easier than English, so I would not pick it on that basis. Do whichever seems more interesting.

I study classics and had a passion for English lit. Most of my friends study English lit and seem to enjoy it.
Classics is either one of those subjects: you either love it or you hate it, there's no inbetween - some of the topics available to learn are really interesting. Our school does Women in Athens & Rome and the Odyssey for AS, 2 very interesting units.
I'm not 100% sure what is studied at English Lit. but a lot of my friends complain that it's an extremely demanding subject and requires a lot of work.
