    Hi guys,
For my A2 I got A*AB, and I'm on my gap year. My main problem is which universities I could apply to and realistically get into. I was wondering which universities (preferably in London) could I apply for, and which type of Computer Science courses would you recommend taking?

What subjects did you get those grades in?

You could contact some A*AA or AAA universities and ask if they would admit you with A*AB. They might, especially if the B is not in a directly relevant subject.

If you want a good job then it's gotta be Computer Science or Software Engineering. those courses teach you how to build software which is what employers are dying for at the minute. As for studying in London I reckon you could get into UCL... maybe Imperial at a stretch but you should deffo look at other places too, for example Uni of Sheffield has a really good CS department and a nice brand new building for you to program in. St. Andrew's is always #1 for this course but you'll probably need A*AA.

I did Software Engineering and graduated in June, I got offered a job before I graduated so the career is looking good. It's a great course if you have the will to learn and be creative.
