hey guys, i'm not from the uk, so I don't know about the age people usually go to uni in britain. I'm turning 18 in a few months, so, if i manage to get into medicine, i'll be 18 when the 2017 courses start, so i was wondering if most medicine students are the same age or not.

    thanks a lot guys

25, just pretend you're older else they'll play piggy in the middle with your shoes

I think 18 or 19 if they take a gap year, but I'm sure you'll find a wide range

Loads of people go to uni straight after A-levels (aged 18) in the UK but there are plenty of mature students, especially on NHS courses such as medicine. So you'll meet a wide rage of people of different ages - you'll definitely be around a lot of people your age though.
