Hey guys, I was thinking of doing Business/Economics but I chose Business because I thought I have general knowledge of it as I have done it in GCSE and got an A in it. However, I heard that Economics is a little bit hard and its essay based. The new specification for business has changed for linear AQA which means there will be NO COURSEWORK AT ALL so its pure on exams.
Should I do economics or business they are both same valued in Uni's as business studies has no coursework in it at all. I tried to change to economics but the school said the class is full so I have to cope with business.
I mean the school itself is ok and I was thinking of changing schools if I am going to do economics and maths. I want to get into a Russel Group Uni and I need 3A's to be competitive to other people when applying.
Also, I have 2 teachers in business and I just feel like she does not know anything because all she does is make the class laugh and tell us how interested she is in "Properties for sale". Should I change schools or what? I made 3 of my best friends come to the school when they got accepted to UCL and they still came for me. I mean when it comes to sixth form its mostly on you so even if you have bad teachers you have to study at home thats the only way to succeed in A levels right?
WHAT SHOULD I DO!? SHOULD I CHANGE SCHOOLS OR STAY IN THE SCHOOL AND TRY HARD AS BUSINESS IS NOT THAT HARD.
By the way.......... I want to become an investor baker (I know it sounds kind of foolish me planning my future) but my point is my career is going to be based of finance.
A level options change!? Watch
