I use to know someone who was apparently a terrible student nurse, she was forced to do Nursing by her mother who was also a Nurse. That girl wasn't academically bright and had some sort of learning disabilities. At that time she didn't know what to do with her life. The girl wanted to be an Air Cabin Crew, her parents didn't allow her, because they felt it was a poorly paid profession. The student nurse made a string of errors in practice, she was suspended twice from practice. When she applied for the position of a Health Care Assistant. Her personal tutor gave her a bad job reference which included the malpractice she did. After she dropped out from Nursing, her parents were very upset with her. She did go and pursue another degree and her parents are still not happy that she did continue with Nursing. That girl is finding a job at present and her mother still wants her to go to Nursing. When she studied the course, she couldn't do her essays. So her mother and Uncle did most of the essay writing for her. The mother always kept an eye on her, when she was studying for her exams. Her mother use to scream at her and occasionally threatened her with physical violence if she slacked
