Changing from Civil engineering at City to Economics with finance at LSBU?

Hi guys, I'm really stressed out right now and need to make a decision very soon. I'm currently due to start civil engineering at City uni - I can't say that I like this course very much, but as it's an engineering degree, I feel it's a safe choice. Now I wanted to study Economics & finance, and as it was so late in the clearing process, there were only a few places that offered it, London south bank (eco with finance), london met (eco & finance) and Birkbeck (financial economics). I actually spent a few months in Birkbeck in 2015, and although the course was great I didn't care for the evening classes. So right now I'm really drawn towards south bank, the only thing holding me back is the universities reputation. I'm by no means a league table snob, but I do worry about the unis reputation. How is the economics program here? Is it accredited?
