I'm applying for Finance and French MA, joint honours. I received all credit standard grade exam results, I have AA in intermediate 2 exams and my highers are AAACCC. I also have studied first year at a different uni in a Business and Finance degree passing all modules ect first time with good grades. Will this be enough to apply into first year at Aberdeen and get in? Will my first year at uni help me against other applicants? Thanks for any advice!

MA is Master of Arts in Scotland as opposed to BA in England. So I think they're asking about the undergraduate degree.

I think it is the "ancient" universities of Aberdeen, Dundee?, Edinburgh, Glasgow and St Andrews all do a 4 year MA. In scotland due to the educational system, we have a 4 year degree as opposed to an english 3 year degree, we also have a 3 year designated degree as Aberdeen does. If you leave the degree in 3rd year, you get an ordinary degree/

Mate, people are finding it difficult to try do something related to their Major when applying.
The fact you have 1 year of experiance with decent grades puts you right at the top of the group.

    Relax, go and apply.
