    Hi there,

I'm moving in to the flats portion of the Hendrefolean Student Village, but I'm late and it looks like I'll be living with one other person in a flat so far.

My question is do flats socialise with each other, you know, flats that are in the same block?

    Cheers for any response.

depends on how you approach them I guess? I only knew people from a few houses because they were on my course. My flatmates did get to make friends with other houses, heck, they even had a cheeky fight with the opposite lot. It depends on how you approach other people and how you "click" (like any situation really). Maybe invite them over for a drink or a game of beer pong? The wonky sheep is a good place to start. Who knows, you might even meet more people there.
Hope this helps and good luck

    Hi there,

I just thought I'd share a little feedback we've received about the Student Village from students last year.
"Good value for money ... cheap and cheerful", "Lovely area ... beautiful scenery ... lots of greenery", "Sense of community is overwhelming", "Everything and everyone is so close", " ... has made uni experience incredible" From the social side of things, HSV has consistently had the most positive feedback year after year
