    Hi guys,

So I was just wanting someones opinion on this. So im currently in year 13 doing my a levels amd I had one really horrible teacher who told me off for my AS results and told me I dont work hard enough. (I got A B C) So obviously I got really upset and my parents emailed my other teachers (one of them the deputy) to ask them about my work ethic. They also mentioned I was feeling low. Throughout the whole week my nice teacher (deputy) has kept coming and sitting with me during lesson and then repeatly asking me questions about the lesson which i dont know the answer to. She's kept me back three times to ask if im okay and i keep saying yes. But today she said she was really worried about me. Why do you think she's worried - does she think im depressed? And is she hinting that she wants me to talk to her?

    Thanks

If your parents contacted her letting her know you were feeling low and you had gotten upset with another teacher, she's probably just trying to make sure you have all the support you need to get the grades you deserve. I'm not sure about her thinking you have depression, but it does sound like she's trying to open a line of communication so you can go and talk to her when you need to. If she's kept you back three times to ask if you're okay, she probably thinks you aren't. If you kept saying you were okay, but she didn't think you were, then of course she'd be worried. Because you were so upset before, she just wants to help you figure everything out and feel better. That's my thoughts, anyway. The only way you can really know is if you talk to her and ask. She knows her motives more than we do Good luck though!
