Clinton's Campaign Started Obama's Birther Controversy Watch

    Today, Trump had a press conference where he said "Obama was born in the United States, period".

    But who started the birther movement ? This 2011 article states "The lie that Barack Obama was not born in the US has been fuelled by fringe Republicans — but supporters of Hillary Clinton, now Mr Obama’s Secretary of State, are largely to blame for starting it."

    Also it was the Clinton campaign that in 2008 spread the below photo, possibly trying to suggest Obama's roots weren't exactly American ...
