Oxford equivalent of May Ball?

Is there one?

We have May balls and winter balls - and some balls that go on at other times. I don't there's quite the same "stay around for all of 9th/10th and go to balls and garden parties" thing, but there were three balls (that I know of!) on 22nd June (end of 9th week) this year.

But are they on the same scale with fireworks, cool lights and loads of different types of music?
