poor circulation, raynauds disease, amenia, hormonal imbalance (especially around menstruation), dehydration. could be a whole number of things really. have you recently lost weight / been on a diet? this can lower thyroid functionality.
best thing would be to have a chat with your gp

I always seem to be really cold, if i am standing in the sun or moving a round a lot i'm ok, but the rest of the time even in the summer i am freezing cold even if i put a jumper on i'm still really cold. My mum is starting to think there is something wrong. Any idea what the problem is and what i can do about it?

It could be to do with poor circulation. My suggestion would be getting a bit more excersise and making sure you're getting the right nutrients in your diet. (Especially iron! - its needed to make blood)
tis worth going to chat to your GP as it can be a sign of something like anemia or just poor cirulation.
(basically same as above)

This sounds silly, but I'm always really hot.

In summer, I sweat like anything, even when doing nothing and wearing nothing.

In winter, I have the windows open just to cool me down.

My fiancee is cold like you, I am always hot (a good match I think lol). Sometimes people are like that, I've known people who are always cold, even if in the bloody sahara desert (well kinda).

I am always cold too. I think it's low blood pressure personally. (mine's not clinically low but still low-normal)

I was always very cold for the last few years. Not so bad now, but I still tend to feel it more than some people. Bizarrely enough, my favourite holiday destination is the Italian Dolomites, where it regularly hits -10c lol.

You're nesh, lass!

Is it all over or just your extremities? Just the extremities it could possibly be Raynaud's. Poor circulation...but generally it's quite possible you're just one of those people who are always cold, for some reason a lot of people are just like that.
I don't know why you'd be cold in summer..but then again English summers are cold! :p:
I have a similar problem. In bed I am always so cold, no matter how many clothes or socks I have on, and I have about 6 doonas on my bed and yet I still get cold. Must be some kind of temperature control issue I reckon...

I think that, by way of a genetic mutation, you have evolved a unique adaptation to the currently increasingly temperatures that global warming is causing. Given a few generations, you "coldies" (as i now dub you) could well rule the earth.

I have the same problem and Ive been to my GP about it, he just shrugged it off as though I was being stupid  I dont think so, Im wearing massive jumpers/coats/2 pairs of socks when its boiling in the summer, and I dont even own any sandals or anything like that as my feet are permanently frozen so I dont dare wear anything but boots and socks!!!

I'm usually cold. Or really hot. Hardly ever just 'normal'. Haha. I find it hard to adjust to new temperatures - often when I get into (my very warm and cosy) bed after sitting in the relatively cool living room I start shivering and I'm absolutely freezing, even though my boyfriend says I feel hot. I don't know...it's annoying. Oh well.
