Last year at uni I had a lot of problems with not feeling good (no energy, not eating, not sleeping, not concentrating) and they got a bit better over summer but now theyre just as bad again, i think because of the pressure I'm under at the minute with my reading list (which I have barely started).
I dont know if this is a good reason to take a year out, just so I can work on the problems like my sleep and concentration so that studying is more manageable, or if i won't be allowed to if it looks like i just want more time to do the reading.
Has anyone else taken a year off uni for mental health reasons and if you have was it a good idea? I asked some of my friends but they all just said that if i took a year off i would never go back.
