Hello everyone! I found this site while searching online for tips on driving and to read about how the practical test went for others. I am learning how to drive in Switzerland where the system is a little different on how many times you can actually take the test: You have three chances, if you fail on your third time you will have to see a psychologist (yes you read right!) before you are allowed to take your test the 4th time. I have taken my test once already and failed, I have my next test booked already for October, however I am unsure about whether I should change cars and my driving instructor.

Since I really want to pass the second time around I was thinking of changing to a smaller car (Fiat 500), I think this would be easier to park (I did badly on my parallel parking in my test) and since many of the country roads are narrow I was thinking it would be easier to drive in a little car. I currently learn on an Audi A3.

Here's my dilemma, should I change my driving instructor just so that I can learn on a smaller car? I have had over 40 lessons with her already (I'm not the most natural or confident of drivers so I need more lessons that the average person). My instructor is so nice and I feel bad to change this late in my progress, but at the end of the day I want to pass my driving test...

Any advice/suggestions would be much appreciated!
Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
