I've heard the City Living accommodation is mostly for 2nd/3rd year and international students
I was thinking of selecting that area when I apply next year, but I don't want to not be able to socialise with people in the first year.
However, the accommodation at Oadby is relatively expensive and I viewed it at the open day, and it doesn't look very nice at all. It seems you're paying for a room that isn't very big and isn't very nice.
I won't get much student loan due to my circumstances so I can't get ''decent'' accommodation and I won't have any money left over for food or whatever else
