Would Hamlets age have affected his actions?

I need to analyse Hamlet's character and personality traits for homework and so far I'm confused on the question on wether or not Hamlets actions would've been different if he'd actully been a teenager. I'm aware that he's actully thirty or something but he still acts younger then his age. (In my opinion anyway) and I view most of his actions as pretty reckless and immature. Maybe if he was like 16 he wouldn't have taken such huge risks??? And anyway back in those times you were meant to act like a man at 14 so I don't thing it would've made a great difference.
Could anyone help me out here?
