    Help please

I've been entered into clearing. I phoned Queen Mary for English...they asked for my details and they said they will phone me back. It's been 3 hours. Should I phone them again? Or should I wait?

    Thanks for your help

I missed the offer for my Firm by 1 grade. So after a few phone calls, I had a talk with the one of the Department Staff, and she told me that they had a place on the course for me.

I've just checked track now, and I'm being congratulated for being accepted into my Insurance, and my Firm is unsuccessful.

Does it take time for Track to be updated? Or do I need to contact my Firm, yet again?

(..if that made any sense whatsoever)

Contact your Firm - they've sent a rejection through to UCAS.

Meh, I have. They've told me to wait again. He said they'd definitely call me again today to confirm......I'm not so sure whether to believe this or not.

If you ring back again ask for the full name of the person you're speaking to and write it down...sounds daft/simple but once people know you know who they are (and can get them in trouble for telling lies...) suddenly they're a lot more helpful...

PQ, thanks for the sound advice. Rang them and everything seems to be A-OK [needed to fax some details through].
Will wait for them to update.

Does UCAS update whenever the uni sends some details, or does it only update at a set time each day?

    Ta,
    Ben

Hello! I'm in limbo-land. I rang up the university and was told that a decision hasn't been made yet.

I applied to study dietetics at the University of Hertfordshire my exam grades were: Human Biology- 1 grade lower than asked for; Chemistry - 2 grades lower than asked for.

Has this happened to anyone else?

I know its hard... But don't worry you'll find somewhere in the end. One uni i know does a different course on a different day in the department so some people had to wait 2-3 days to get confirmation...

    you've applied for dietetics?

    What were your grades?

Because the course is very chemistry based they may be a bit cautious because your chemistry wasn't great.

be patient, Look at other places in clearing... if you want to do something.

i'm going into 4th year of that course!
