We are taking 300,000 immigrants on average and God know how many illegal/ legal asylum seekers get in and are granted the right to leave. What does right to leave mean?

We have agreed to take in 20,000 Syrians which which rise to 80,000 with extended family members.
I am surprised we found them all homes when we have homeless people

Who cares if you 'need' them?

These are traumatized people who have lost everything fleeing from violence and terror, it is your goddamn human duty to take them in and treat them well until they can return to their country.

We're actually taking about 600,000, the 300,000 is net immigration once people have left.

The answer to your question is probably yes from a pure economic point of view. At any one time the UK has more than 700,000 registered job vacancies and even with our immigration rate unemployment is still falling. The bigger question of course is what type of immigrant we should take (it's worth noting that about 100,000 immigrants are either spouses or students).

On a national basis there are enough homes for everybody, the problems with homelessness are quite complicated but can boil down to said person being unable to move from London to the Highlands.

We should take zero asylum seekers.
