    So I'm going into my third yr of a computer course I'm not saying where but I don;t like it and I;m not doing well so now I;ve decieded that I want to do medicine but I didnt do the sciences for A level because my school wouldnt let me cos I didnt get A's in the sciences for GCSE so do you think that I should redo my GCSE;s and A levels and do medicine or just stay on this course evne though i dont want to??

    You'll have to finish your degree to try for GEM anyway.

    Why didn't you do well at GCSE sciences and why do you now think medicine is a good option?

    Whats GEM? and because I didnt really work hard in school but now I want to do it cos its the best degree ever

    GEM stands for graduate entry medicine. So after you have completed your computing degree you can apply for this, provided you get at least a 2:1.

    Try and get some work experience in a medical setting so that you can be sure medicine is for you
